PERSONALITY:

Lynx likes to consider himself as average, but he still isn't quite sure what average is. He tends to keep to himself, but at the same time if you are willing to start up the conversations, he will be warm and willing to delve further into his own thoughts and emotions. He tries to be as friendly as he can, but sometimes he fears that he comes off as intimidating. When he opens up and lets his true side out, Lynx eventually shows as being quite enthusiastic. He enjoys having fun and loves making friends - but he absolutely loathes losing them. He has a hard time keeping friends, which a lot has nothing to do with himself - it's just that all of his friends leave him against their own will.

Having been grown up in a fairly strict household, he obtained a strong urge for freedom; however, every time he tried to break free, his parents would force him back and make it impossible for him to enjoy his life. His mother constantly tried to turn him into what she had wanted to be - and what he promised himself he'd never be. Even to this day she has a hard time accepting his choice in lifestyle and begrudges every thought of him being alone, because she thinks he'll do more harm to himself than he really will. His constant berating from his mother, as well as losing all of his friends one year, threw him into a deep depression. He became irritable and everyone began to hate even talking to him, and he would get into fights often. Although he has started taking medication, he occasionally slips and falls into a depression again, bringing back his old, dark emotions that made everyone dislike him.

Lynx is a very passionate person. He will stand firm with his beliefs and opinions and can often be considered extremely stubborn because of it. However, his passion also drives him into his love for the beauty in nature and the world, and he believes that there is a good part in nearly everybody. He also has a strong sense of justice, and believes that if someone does something wrong, they deserve to get in trouble for it - and those that are accused but are innocent should walk free forever. He also believes that anyone can live their life however they want and follow whatever beliefs that they would like, but he has a problem with people who try and force their beliefs down other people's throats.

Besides this, Lynx has kept most of his life to a standard of being ordinary. He hates the upper class people, as he feels they are all haughty and arrogant. He refuses to bow down to anyone, and instead he is far more willing to stand up to authority then to fall down to their level - or lower. He refuses to accept anyone pretending to rule the world just because of money. To him, money is nothing but paper that someone colored on - and it is worthless to religiously love your money like that.

NOTES: Jazlyn and Lynx weren't exactly the best of friends from the start. Jazlyn felt the need to be pampered - but Lynx wanted nothing of it, or her. As the years passed, Jazlyn began to become more and more relaxed around Lynx, as her desire for affection pulled her forward more than anything else. One day, Lynx was walking to the beach when he was jumped by three guys, and Jazlyn came in and saved him, fighting back the muggers. After that, Lynx began to love his Pokemon more and more - and soon they became best friends. After that, Lynx began to work with Jazlyn more and more, and she evolved into a magnificent beast that even he was proud of. Since then, he often takes flights to see the beauty of the world below them - and try to see beyond and imagine the world outside of Atlantis.
